Colombian Canadian Artist, has featured in shows in Colombia, the United States, England and Canada and has received a number of awards and distinctions.
The concept of "reconstruction" has been the focus of my creative process. For this purpose, I have found that the techniques of collagraph applied to painting and printmaking have been the ideal media to re-create the sensation of building a new life with the pieces I have had at hand.
My art pieces are testimonies to a process, and to an existence. They are symbolic expressions of a moment in life. As Henry Moore once said, "To be an artist is to believe in life".
